Cody Wiench, MD

About Me:

Within hospital medicine, Dr. Wiench has a special interest in congestive heart failure and pneumonia. While common, these diagnoses offer unique challenges that physicians are well-equipped to address. Dr. Wiench volunteered at a free medical clinic in Lewiston, Idaho, while he was an undergrad at the University of Idaho. The positive experiences he had working with patients inspired him to pursue a future in medicine. After graduating with bachelor of science degrees in biology and microbiology, Dr. Wiench went on to earn a doctor of medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
