It is that balance of truth and empathy that continues to inspire his commitment to medicine. Early diagnosis and prevention are at the center of Dr. Zohourian’s approach to care. He advocates for aggressive management of heart disease in younger patients, aiming to alter or delay the progression of cardiac conditions. At the same time, he is a proponent of conservative management for older adults, carefully balancing treatment to ensure quality of life and safety. Outside of work, Dr. Zohourian is an avid nature enthusiast who is always on the lookout for new adventures while still making time to wrestle with his Briard dog, Barkley.
