About Me:

Jason Guennel graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Clarkson University in 2017. He moved to Oregon after graduating, where he spent his first 6 years in Southern Oregon, prior to relocating to the Portland Metro. Jason is a lifelong learner, obtaining various continuing education: Certified Manual Physical Therapist (2019), Therapeutic Pain Specialist (2020), Orthopedic Certified Specialist (2021), Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (2023), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (2024). He enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with the shoulder complex and the interrelationship of the lower kinetic chain (foot/ankle, knee, hip) as areas of interest. He is currently trying to incorporate a holistic approach to care, examining the effect of diet, sleep, and breathing on patient wellbeing and outcomes. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, bouldering, meditating, traveling, and playing the ukulele.
