About Me:

Dr. Jeffrey Sunshine has been affiliated with the Surgery department since 1985 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011. Dr. Sunshine has long been a leader in many areas. He has served as Chief of Surgery at Southwest Washington Medical Center, was co-founder of the Southwest Regional Surgery Center, principal investigator for the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel project and been a member of numerous committees, both at The Vancouver Clinic and Southwest Washington Medical Center. Dr. Sunshine earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, as well as an American Cancer Society surgical oncology fellowship with special interest in breast cancer and melanoma.
