About Me:
Dr. DaSilva is an orthopedic surgeon sub-specializing in sports injuries and arthritic conditions of the knee, hip, and shoulder. Dr. DaSilva believes in joint preservation and has expertise in minimally invasive surgery, cartilage restoration, cartilage and meniscal transplantation, osteotomies and ligament reconstruction. Dr. DaSilva also has an interest in hip arthroscopy. Dr. DaSilva has traveled internationally with US Soccer as a team physician. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on surgical techniques and clinical outcomes in sports medicine. Dr. DaSilva has served as an instructor at the arthroscopy learning center, and is a journal reviewer for Arthroscopy. Dr. DaSilva is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.Dr. DaSilva lives in Vancouver, WA. with his wife and two children.
