Training:
Dr. Jessica Chen, MD, is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Devers Eye Institute at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine and completed her residency in ophthalmology at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Chen went on to pursue advanced fellowship training in corneal and anterior segment surgery at Devers Eye Institute.
Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and all forms of corneal transplantation, including DMEK, DSAEK, DALK, PK, and the Boston Keratoprosthesis (KPro). She is also experienced in managing complex anterior segment cases and ocular surface diseases such as dry eye.
Dr. Chen is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to improve vision and enhance quality of life for her patients.
