About Me:

“I was drawn to Colorectal surgery because of how much we can help patients that are going through really difficult situations. My scope of practice includes everything from benign disease and everyday problems to major diagnoses like inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal and anal cancer diagnoses that can be life long or cured, and everything in between. My commitment to patients is to be straightforward, communicate clearly, and above all, clinically excellent as I help them navigate the process of managing their condition. I feel fortunate to have returned to my home in the Pacific Northwest where I can continue contributing to the healthcare of the community and region that helped make me who I am.” Outside of work, Dr. Mirza enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, two kids, and three dogs. He enjoys hiking, backpacking and camping, and ice hockey.
