About Me:

Dr. Disher holds a BS in Biology from Saint Mary’s College of California and received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2002 from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed an internship and residency in General Surgery at the State University of New York at Upstate Medical Center. Dr. Disher performs a wide variety of general surgery cases including thyroid, parathyroid, and breast with a particular interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures including surgery for reflux disease, small bowel disorders, and colon surgery. She strives for open communication, patient education, and compassionate care with every patient contact.
