About Me:

Dr. Vasanth has a BA in History from Yale University. She received her medical degree in 2000 from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Columbia Campus. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. During fellowship, she also completed a Masters in Biostatistics, Clinical Research Methods from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. Prior to joining The Vancouver Clinic, Dr. Vasanth was a member of the Rheumatology faculty at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Vasanth aims to improve her patients’ quality of life and their ability to manage chronic illness using a team approach which focuses on communication, education, and evidence based medicine.
