Patient Rating

Legacy wants every patient to have great care, every time. To help measure and improve patient satisfaction, we send surveys to randomly selected patients after their appointments. We use this feedback from the surveys to improve and enhance the care we offer. It works like this: Real patients give us feedback through Press Ganey, a patient satisfaction survey company. They verify and confirm the results. National Research Corporation, an independent company, provides the technology to show the ratings and comments on our website

Visit was good though no follow-up. I was told I'd get a phone call regarding next steps and did not. I called [dates removed] and still have not heard back. That is not considerate or responsible or reasonable given he made a commitment to call me.

Dr Mehta is a cardiac specialist that I only saw once for the first time, so I could not answer some of your questions. Some of the questions could not be answered with the check list provided for that question.

When Dr. Mehta didn't have all my records from 10 yrs. ago he advised me to wait until he had all the information from them until now - I am pleased that he investigated all of my records and was thorough.

From the time of admittance, the time the dr. walked in - it was 1 hour & 15 min.! Waited way too long! This happens at Cornell office - always late. No reply to any and all phone msgs. left with staff. Have complained repeatedly!

Dr. Mehta was excellent in listening to my questions and concerns regarding an upcoming cardioversion for atrial fibrillation and he also described in easy-to-understand detail all of the aspects of a potential ablation procedure. I have complete confidence in his knowledge and abilities as a cardiologist and electrophysiologist, and look forward to a successful ablation during the next month. I would not hesitate to enthusiastically recommend him to anyone in need of of cardiac-related care.

This provider did not respect what I had told him. I told him I will not undergo an ablation procedure, yet he kept promoting it. I told him I have taken flecainide previously AND that another cardiologist as to why I was prescribed this, and told me to stop using it. Yet, this provider AGAIN prescribed flecainide!!! I did not pick up this prescription. I also told this provider about my more alternative approach to health & my strong belief in herbs. Yet he seemed to have zero interest in this and did not ask me a single question nor passed a comment on this part of me.
