About Me:

Marisa is a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in Orthopedics with special interest in Manual therapy. Ms. Mowrey received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology/Psychology from Ohio University in 2006 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Diego in 2010. She currently splits her practice between clinical Outpatient treatment and Emergency Department care. She has experience in acute/trauma rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and Neurological patients with additional focus on treatment of the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome population. Additional post-graduate training include FMS certification and manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, Mulligan mobilization with movement, muscle energy, and myofascial release including Graston technique. Hobbies include: Hiking, biking, spending time outdoors, gardening, reading and cooking. Time spent in practice: 7 years.
