About Me:

Dr. Horikawa specializes in interventional radiology and interventional neuroradiology. His clinical interests include targeted treatments for cancer, vascular disease, portal hypertension, as well as vascular disorders of the cerebrovascular systems. As a scientist, he is especially interested in development of new devices and techniques. Dr. Horikawa received his medical degree from National Defense Medical College and then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at National Defense Medical College. He was awarded fellowships in Interventional Radiology at National Defense Medical College and Interventional Neuroradiology at Oregon Health & Science University. He has been serving as a member of Research Grant and Educational Committee of Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation and International Committee of Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology.
