Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Champion is a Pulmonologist whose clinical interests are lung cancer and interstitial lung disease. He completed medical school at Saint Louis University, completed residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and did his fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Champion enjoys woodworking, photography, snowboarding and spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Champion answered all my questions about my need for oxygen supplementation going forward as I plan to travel by air for the first time in 5 plus years. We went over the results of the altitude testing I had done late in 2023 and all the oxygen levels and equipment considerations I will need for the airline. He also completed the form for my flight oxygen requirements. As always, he is complete in covering any details I need for successful oxygen use at all times to make sure my heart has the proper levels after I experienced congestive heart failure 5 years ago. I appreciate having him as an important member of my health care team!
