Mica Zimmerman creates an environment where patients feel validated and empowered to make informed decisions about their care. She practices evidence-based, trauma-informed care. She enjoys the authentic connections she builds with patients and their families. Mica is dedicated to being an advocate for reproductive health and is committed to supporting people through all phases of life. She has a special interest in contraception counseling and family planning. Mica earned a bachelor of science in global disease biology at the University of California, Davis in Davis, California. She earned a bachelor of science in nursing and a doctor of nursing practice in midwifery at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Prior to becoming a midwife, she worked as a birth doula.
