Dr. Engle is board-certified in internal medicine. She completed a doctorate of pharmacy at Purdue University and earned a medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. She completed a residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University. As a primary care physician, Dr. Engle enjoys developing relationships with patients over time and forming individual plans based on their health needs and goals. She loves hiking, reading, travelling, and spending time with her husband and two dogs (Henry and Ivan). Dr. Engle is not currently taking new patients.

Every time I visit & see Dr. Engle I know she can help me or refer me to specialist if it is out of her area of expertise. Dr. Engles is a very knowledgeable, good, kind and apptoachable doctor who is up to date with current medical advances and medications and I trust her completely. Best doctor I have ever had.

Everyone at Dr Engle's office is wonderful. From the receptionist, to Jesus Dr Engle's MA, to Dr Engle. Dr Engle never makes me feel rushed. She spends as much time as needed to address my issues or concerns.

I have been seeing Dr. Engle for 15 years and she has always been very approachable and helpful. She listens to what you have to say and then starts forming a plan. The My Chart system is very effective for getting responses to non-urgent questions and they are very good at responding. Dr. Engle treats me like I am one of her family and could not ask for a better person to rely on for good advice.

There definitely was a problem with my knee. I could hardly walk, a great deal of pain. It was very different than I had been experiencing. Dr. Engle got me In quickly and took ex rays and we were able to see them before leaving the office. SinceThe pain stopped----currently watching and taking notes to see what is causing this problem. Will meet with her again toNarrow down how to treat this new issue.

I was disappointed that, when I left my original message about my concern, I requested that they respond to my cell phone. The receptionist said she would write that on the message. I was gone for several hours, returned home, and never received a call on my cell phone. I finally thought to check my home phone (landline) hours later and found a message there, asking me to call the triage nurse. When I did, it took another hour and a half to get a response, also left on my landline, when I was busy working; so I never got that message until too late to get anything done during regular office hours. I ended up having to go to the ER (at the covering doctor's direction) for something I had hoped to resolve during the day at a less expensive, less time-consuming facility. There was a breakdown in communication and a delay in getting my rather urgent need met because they neglected to call me on the phone that was with me at all times that day. That was disappointing.

That's an important part when dealing with anyone who is coming in for any kind of issue, large or small.

I have had 2 doctors in the lasts 40 years. One moved away and Dr. Engel has been my primary care doctor since. It is important to be able to create a long term relationship with doctor.

Dr Engle has been my Primary for several years. I find her to be a brilliant diagnostician as well as a fun person to be around. Her revolving pictures of past vacations AND her dogs, are very pleasant to look at while waiting. We have shared many of the same vacation spots but I am no longer able to travel.

I've never had a provider spend that much time with me - going over history, talking about concerns, etc. It was great and she really seemed to listen and provide solutions. It was a fairly long wait for an "annual" visit but I am very happy with how it went and the next steps.

I've seen Dr. Engle for years. This experience was like the rest, in that she listens well, is thoughtful and considerate. If I have a concern or doubt about the treatment she recommends, she asks my reasons for objecting, and considers them, explaining her reasons for the treatment proposal in as much detail as needed. She's an empathetic person and I not only would recommend her to others, I have done so.

Dr. Engle is the best primary care physician I have ever had, and I'm 74 years old! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful for any and all health issues I have. I feel very lucky to be her patient.

The receptionist gave my husband the wrong paperwork. I caught it because she thought I was seeing the same Dr and she said so that's Dr Winegarf and I said no we are both seeing Dr Engel so she called him back and took the paperwork and deleted everything and started over.
