About Me:

Dr. Randall Brown is a neurologist and neuro-ophthalmologist with Legacy Medical Group Neurology and Devers Eye Institute. Raised in Missouri, he earned his undergraduate degree, a Master of Science in Neuroscience, and his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri. He completed his Neurology residency at the University of Louisville, where he served as Chief Resident. He then specialized further with a fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at Stanford University. He is active in the American Academy of Neurology and North American Neuro-Ophthalmological Society. At Legacy Medical Group, Dr. Brown provides comprehensive care for neurological and neuro-ophthalmological conditions. Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys drumming, exploring local trails by foot or mountain bike.

Got interrupted when trying to answer questions and told "no" when in the middle of trying to explain/answer so that I was not able to adequately communicate symptoms. I felt like I wasn't given the space to talk much. Also, would be helpful if provider asked better/more nuanced questions and allowed more time for me to process information and communicate. Provider would not tell me what he thinks is going on, despite stating he has an idea. Never responded to MyChart message asking a follow up.

Dr. Brown is a really exceptional provider. He listens to concerns and does a great job responding to questions. He took time to review my concerns and imaging before the appointment.

I appreciate Dr Brown's care and our honest discussion. He addressed my concerns and offered, along with his assessment, an additional option to explore as it related to my concerns. I really wished we'd had 5 more minutes for our video appointment, as it felt a little rushed for a yearly check-in and assessment. In another 5 minutes, I would have taken time to review important details we'd discussed.
