About Me:

Rebecca Ames is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Legacy Medical Group Northwest. She was born and raised in Portland, leaving this city to get her bachelors degrees from the University of Oregon and New York University. She has spent the last eight years working as a nurse at Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon (RIO) at Legacy Good Samaritan. While there, she fostered a passion for neuro, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and geriatrics. In 2021 she went back to school for her masters degree at Frontier Nursing University, and is so excited to begin her advanced practice with LMG NW. In her free time, Rebecca loves to cook and bake, run/cycle and spend time with her family and friends.
