About Me:
Dr. Sarah Savu takes a compassionate approach to care. She listens closely and focuses on building a collaborative relationship with patients. Her goal is to educate individuals and support them in achieving better health. Dr. Savu has a particular interest in hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, and home dialysis programs. Due to family members who have experienced kidney-related issues, she has a deep personal connection to the field of nephrology. She finds it rewarding to prevent and manage kidney disease because she has seen firsthand the impact it can have on people’s quality of life.
Training:
Dr. Savu completed her medical training at the College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur, Nepal. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Marshfield Clinic Health System in Marshfield, Wisconsin. From there, she completed her fellowship in nephrology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is fluent in Telugu.
