About Me:

Dr. Shawn Patrick is an invasive cardiologist, board-certified in cardiovascular disease. Practicing at Legacy since 2001, Dr. Patrick has spent most of his career at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center and in an outreach clinic in St. Helens, OR. His outpatient practice is exclusive to Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center and the clinic in St. Helens, but he also covers as the inpatient hospitalist at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center. In his practice, Dr. Patrick performs cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, transesophageal echocardiograms and stress tests, and has extensive training in echocardiography. Dr. Patrick wanted to be a doctor since he was in 4th grade and knew he wanted to be a cardiologist since 8th grade. He thoroughly enjoys taking care of people both in the acute setting and in the long-term. Outside of his practice, Dr. Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, their two kids, and his dogs. He also competes in triathlons and coaches high school girls lacrosse.
