About Me:

Stacey Cohen, FNP, is a supportive nurse practitioner at Legacy Medical Group Northeast who joined the team in early 2023. Practicing in a non‑paneled role, she helps ensure timely access to care by seeing patients when their primary providers are unavailable, schedules are full, or when more urgent concerns need prompt attention. Before becoming a provider, Stacey spent many years as a cardiac nurse, caring for patients with complex, high‑acuity medical conditions. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at Duke University, building on that foundation to provide thoughtful, evidence‑based care across a wide range of acute and chronic concerns. She is known for her calm presence, collaborative style, and patient‑centered approach. Originally from the East Coast, Stacey now enjoys Portland life with her husband and their dog Schmutzy. Outside of work, she’s an all‑weather marathon runner and cyclist who also enjoys channeling her creative side through watercolor painting.
