Personal Interests/Hobbies: Family time, mountain biking, spending time outdoors and cooking.
Fun fact: I lived abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two consecutive years where I learned Spanish (castellano).

Professional/Research Interests: Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Failure, Weight Management and MOUD
Personal Interests/Hobbies: Biking, Hiking, Gardening, Archery Hunting, Traveling with family and cooking
Fun fact: I have 3 amazing daughters and 1 exceptional wife, but they all like collecting cats!  So I learned to build a “catio”.  We currently have four permanent cats and foster kittens on the regular, so if you’re looking for a new cat hit me up.

Fun fact:  Surfed Alaska during a snowstorm in 15 deg F temperatures in Orca infested waters while looking like a seal in my black wetsuit.

Fun fact: My brothers and I formed a family band called JAM’R, which was an acronym for our names. We only learned to play one song, Louie Louie, so I am sure our parents were sick of that song by the time the band broke up.

Fun fact: I was caught in a hail storm with softball size hail while driving in Nebraska during one of my 4th year rotations. It was the first time my insurance company said they had paid for medical bills for someone with hail damage to a person while INSIDE their vehicle (all of my car windows were smashed).
