As an immigrant deeply committed to supporting the community, I bring a unique blend of skills and experience to my doula practice in the Portland metro area. With over seven years of experience and having attended more than 200 births, I am a seasoned birth doula, lactation consultant, and medical interpreter in Swahili. My passion lies in empowering and supporting fellow immigrants and refugees during one of the most transformative times in their lives. I provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care, ensuring that families feel confident and understood throughout their birthing journey. My goal is to make every birth experience positive and empowering, offering the guidance and support needed to navigate the complexities of childbirth in a new environment.
