About Me:

Dr. Steele completed his residency with Legacy's Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2010 and has been working as a hospitalist/inpatient physician at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. He switched to outpatient practice to form more long lasting physician-patient relationships. He believes that building a respectful relationship with patients empowers them to make health decisions and changes that will lead to optimal health. Dr. Steele's hobbies include: golfing, camping, and enjoying time with his wife and two growing daughters. Dr. Steele is not accepting new patients at this time.

Office atmosphere clean, pleasant, comfortable and bright. ALL staff very friendly and professional. Dr. Steele was personable as always, and made me feel comfortable and listened to. He is honest and caring and aware of my medical history. I feel fortunate to have this team as my care team!

Dr. Ryan Steele is an amazing Doctor who listens to your needs and responds immediately with remedies and actions to resolve your issues. He has an uplifting personality which I also appreciate. I love him for his wealth of knowledge spanning multiple bodily problems and for his kindness and willing attitude to help you. I also love him for the person he is. A Wonderful Man!

Getting an appointment was very difficult. I like to schedule my appointments months out and not try to get a same day or next day appointment. I was told to call a week before my desired appointment. I called and everything was filled. Told to call on Friday morning for a Monday or Tuesday appt. I called and was told all Monday and Tuesday appts were filled. The office person was not helpful at all. I even threatened to find another doctor because this system was not working for me. She said she understood. I really didn't want to find another office so sent Dr Steele a message. He had his office manager call me and got me in on Tuesday. This whole situation was very disturbing. I would like ability to schedule an appointment when it is appropriate for me to be see . This Legacy appointment system needs some revamping.

Best visit I've had in years. Dr. Steel is easy to talk to. He listen to my concerns and knowledgeable. He offered a solution to my concerns, which so far, have helped. He also requested that I keep him posted as to how things were going.

It would be nice to be able to schedule the Wellness and/or physical exam in My Chart. Having to call for an appointment is fine but it would be easier for me to do it online.

This provider is great. However, there's a major issue when it comes to getting an ultra sound or MRI scheduled. Numerous times, I've had to call, sit on hold and then leave a message. I've had to do this for days in a row with no call back to get it scheduled. Currently, I'm supposed to get an MRI, but it's over a week and no word. I called BCBS insurance and they approved the MRI, but now Dr Steele's office said it's denied. So, I'm in the middle without care and it's frustrating.

I always receive the best possible care from my provider and the entire team. Dr Steele always shows compassion and listens to me and explains to me in terms I understand. He is very thorough and he shows respect to my needs and he is the best provider I have ever had! The entire office is caring and understanding and compassionate. I have referred my relatives and friends always to Dr Steele.

I specifically researched who I wanted for my Physician including asking clinic staff who they used as their Physician. Dr. Steele is absolutely the best in all respects. My lowest ratings are to do with limiting scheduling to 3 days out. Now I can no longer schedule through MyChart; I've tried many times and was told It works for some people and not others. Now I have to call. Took 2 days of calls to get a day and time that worked. How is this to the patients advantage???? How are people to plan ahead; especially those who work and need to pre-arrange time off???? Having to do scheduling through phone calls is a giant step backwards. And never in my life have I encountered only being able to schedule 3 days out. This makes NO sense at all.

1st visit with Dr n almost declined since it was male dr but VERY glad I didn't. Dr was so great and it me at ease right away. He was up on my previous medical issues, asked & answered all my questions. Very professional but never made me feel as though there was a time clock. 24 hours later I am feeling almost like new. He stepped in when my own primary car dr was unavailable.

Camas office very good. Legency phone service awful cannot talk live person call back very poor hospital is even worse will not go to samon creek hospital went north of Seattle to get hospital care for my wife

The weird thing about this Dr and his Nurse is the lack of looking like a Dr or Nurse. Street clothes is very relaxed, not what I'm used to.

I am very happy to have the medical team and Dr. Steele for my provider with Legacy Health. From the first day of being my doctor, I felt comfortable, and trusted him. He is a very patient doctor, that takes the time to listen to my concerns. With the changes in my life with becoming a senior person, he takes the time to hear me out and explain things that are happening. He's like an old friend, very comforting. Some things can be very scary.

Great experience some questions hard to answer because this was my first visit so they didn't apply. I was so impressed with Dr Steele! He made me feel at ease right from the start. Great interpersonal skills, extremely intelligent, great sense of humor and compassion. I was an ED nurse and believe me a physician like this are few and far between. I never felt hurried and felt his approach was a team approach. You should feel ver fortunate to have someone like him in your practice. Tx for asking.

I was unable to schedule a visit online. I would like to plan a week to a month ahead of time for regular visits, which I am currently unable to do with this office. Otherwise, the office staff and Doctor are excellent!
