About Me:

Dr. Steele completed his residency with Legacy's Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2010 and has been working as a hospitalist/inpatient physician at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. He switched to outpatient practice to form more long lasting physician-patient relationships. He believes that building a respectful relationship with patients empowers them to make health decisions and changes that will lead to optimal health. Dr. Steele's hobbies include: golfing, camping, and enjoying time with his wife and two growing daughters. Dr. Steele is not accepting new patients at this time.

Dr Steele is the BEST doctor I have ever had! I have a health issue that can make choosing a plan for treatment difficult, because certain medications will cause issues for me, and certain symptoms can be caused by that vs a new illness. He always listens to my concerns, and explains the reasoning behind the diagnosis or medication if I get one, as well as anything to watch for that could be a negative reaction. There have been times where more than one thing can be diagnosed or prescribed, and he always welcomes my input and is willing to have a discussion on my preferred method.

On this first anppointment with my new pcp, my impression of Dr Steele was excellent. It was clear he had spent some time looking through the chart notes prior to my appointment and was up to speed on the various health issues and concerns that I wanted to discuss with him.
