Strong neighborhoods are built on relationships between neighbors, local businesses and the organizations that serve them.
As a community-based health system, Legacy Health’s mission extends beyond providing great health care. It also means showing up alongside the local businesses who serve the same community, building trust and strengthening the connections that help neighborhoods thrive.
Green Bridge Coffee: Rooted in Northeast Portland
Green Bridge Coffee is a neighborhood coffee shop in Northeast Portland owned by Joel Stenberg. With a welcoming atmosphere and a focus on community, the shop is woven into the daily rhythm of those who live and work nearby — a place where familiar faces return and connections build over time.
Alongside Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Green Bridge Coffee serves many of the same neighbors, with each contributing to the well-being of the community in different ways. Staying connected to these everyday places is part of what it means to be a community-based hospital. Supporting local businesses and spaces also helps our neighborhoods feel like home.

Sugar Cubed Cakes: Rooted in Gresham
Located in the heart of downtown Gresham, Sugar Cubed Cakes has become a local favorite for handcrafted cakes, cupcakes and sweet treats made with care by a family-run bakery. Led by owner Kayla Brown and her team, Sugar Cubed strives to be a light in the community — a place rooted in connection, celebration and neighborhood pride.
Like Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, Sugar Cubed Cakes serves the same Gresham community — the same families, workers and neighbors. Its presence reflects our belief that community health is strengthened when local businesses and community organizations show up together.

Here for good means putting your roots down. You’re building a legacy for your family and for your community.

The Wild Dandelion: Rooted in Silverton
The Wild Dandelion is a family-owned boutique in downtown Silverton led by owner Sandi Purdy. It offers handpicked gifts, accessories and home décor items that reflect the town’s charm. Purchased by the Purdy family from the original family owners in 2024, the shop continues a shared and loving dream of creativity, kindness and connection.
The Wild Dandelion and Legacy Silverton Medical Center are two pillars of the Silverton community, with each strengthening local health and well-being in different ways. Being a community-based hospital means building relationships and working with local businesses that make Silverton feel like home.
