Collaborates closely with the trauma, ECMO, cardiovascular, orthopedic, ophthalmology teams and partners directly with providers from the Randall Children’s Hospital on the Legacy Emanuel campus.
One of the first burn centers to add laser scar treatment, virtual reality, nitrous oxide and aroma therapy to the standard of care for their burn patients
Participates in national and international research to advance the level of evidenced based burn care provided.
