Search and Rescue helps deliver baby home
Clark County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue helped bring home a new baby born at Legacy Salmon Medical Center in the aftermath of the massive snowstorm this week.
Jackson Burkett was born on January 8. He and his mom were ready to go home Tuesday, January 10, but the snowstorm kept them in the hospital. Jackson's parents Ashley and Aaron live in rural Battle Ground where the snow is a foot deep plus. "I didn't want to take the risk of driving my newborn and my wife home in our little car with bald tires," said Aaron Burkett. "I felt stuck."
